Did my regular Groovers Korner night last Friday; as usual there was a great vibe but not such great numbers. Many regulars have mentioned that they are not coming any more because they feel that Freddy’s charge west-end prices for drinks.
Am now on the lookout for a new venue, preferably in NW London, although possible venues in the pipeline are one in Twickenham, one in Ascot and one in Eastcote. If anyone knows of a suitable venue please let me know.
For those not familiar with Groovers Korner; it’s a monthly soul event that I’ve been running for the past 10 years and attracts a more mature crowd, with the majority of the audience being between 30 & 50. See www.grooverskorner.com for more details.
